As a small independently owned and run family business, established since 1985, you are assured of receiving the quality that only comes with experience.

For three generations now Curtis timber windows have been involved with the making and installing of wooden sash windows and doors. The reason behind our success is that we run a small work force and we never sub contract our work. This means that either Chris or Richard Curtis oversees your requirements from beginning to end.

Originally, we started out replicating windows in both private homes, conservation areas and listed buildings. In all these situations attention to detail is essential, but with the listed properties a high level of accuracy is required. This skill level is something that has been carried through to our present work, where with the latest regulations in relation to the glazing, it has been important for us to retain the feel and style of the original mouldings.

You will find our workshop is well equipped with both machinery and space that allows us to manufacture our products to a high level of quality. We only fit windows and doors that we have handmade ourselves, from responsibly sourced quality materials, supported by our expert knowledge and skills resulting in a quality product. In fact we are happy to welcome customers the opportunity to come and see works in progress, and observe the manufacturing process for themselves.
